The 10:30 show was canceled, so this is the 1am prom show.
There were twenty five kids from the same limo and a group of four college girls who happened to wind up at this prom show. I’ve never witnessed a show like this before: six of the eight comics were unable to do any material because the kids were so ADD and disruptive that each set would devolve into a conversation with no punch lines within thirty seconds of opening. Even the “pro” comics who didn’t have to bark for stage time couldn’t get through their sets.

0m12s Look at all the talking before I even start talking
0m38s Having witnessed everyone else’s downfall before me, I decided to ignore all audience comments and just do my jokes
1m02s I’m talking faster than usual to try to get the crowd to shut up
1m29s Ignoring them worked for twenty seven seconds
1m37s I didn’t ask if anyone had dogs because I knew I’d never get the set back
1m49s This wound up getting less laughs because it wasn’t set up in the normal way
2m57s Notice the one girl responding to EVERYTHING
3m09s You can only ignore so much
3m27s It’s bad when your friends have to tell you to shut up
3m57s Sarcasm included free of charge
5m56s Look at the shot glass when saying what it said
Overall: Considering how everyone else’s set on the show got derailed like John Daly at a liquor store, I’m really proud of my set. I won’t be submitting this tape to any comedy festivals, but this set and the April 15th set where the host was getting into a fight with audience members while I was on stage, are my two best instances of concentration.
