Performance Critique: May 22c

This is my third show of the night with a slightly larger crowd

1m40s So this is what an audience of more than 8 people sounds like, I almost forgot what laughter is…

2m23s I should change “they beat me” to “they whip me – that was ten lashes”

2m44s Change “who’s in the circus” to “from the circus”

3m03s I gotta remember to wait longer on that punch line as its not obvious

3m34s Laughing at my jokes seems to be effective

4m18s Halloween outfit needs to go

4m24s I really need to stop interrupting my flow of a multi-punch line joke with the acknowledgement that one of the laughs didn’t work

Overall: This was much better than my previous set, although the delivery and jokes weren’t that different. It turns out that the larger a crowd is, the more likely someone is to laugh. Shocking, I know, but lately I’ve been doing too many shows that have 4 to 10 people in the crowd. It was nice to see that I can still get some laughs. However, I wasn’t conversational enough here, or else I would’ve done much better.
