This is the 10:30 show, I hosted, there were ten people in the audience.

0m27s I try to do a little crowd work before getting into a joke when I host
1m33s This is the loudest laugh I’ve ever heard as a host
1m55s Add on “cause nobody’s watching”
2m18s I really wish I could’ve thought of bigger words to say the same thing
4m06s I’m continuing to try to mix in crowd work with jokes
4m38s I didn’t realize how great of a transition I just had from crowd work to material
4m57s I missed the word “convention”
5m06s I seriously don’t know about other countries freedom of speech laws
5m22s I’m asking more of my material in the form of questions than I usually do
6m20s Great joke about being twelve. If I get a groan about the myspace joke I should say “since you’re all child molesters, I should’ve mentioned I’m actually twelve”
7m47s Good bit of improv I should keep around next time I host
9m00s I decided to leave out “snuggle head” because it was seven females and one guy
9m19s I need more emphasis on “tubes” to close it stronger
Overall: I try to believe that the crowd doesn’t make a difference and that if you’re funny, you can win over any crowd. However, this is the same night as the previous set, with around the same number of people, and I did the same jokes that I did in the previous show but the response was much better. It’s also interesting that I hosted in this set and was up in the middle of the show during the last set. I guess this means I’m at the level of stand up where I can only get a good response from certain crowds and not others
