Going last on a music and comedy mic

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSaWKZCalGM

1m49s It should be “only on Fox” not “only to Fox”

3m18s That’s a great punch line that acknowledges the crowds most common reaction

5m08s Good job “yes and-ing” his objection

7m22s Nice random side laugh

8m01s Change “like to be” to “are into”

Part 2

Overall: Solid job, especially since I went up 2.5 hours into the show. Interacting with the crowd and bending their responses to my liking helped this go well.

A bar show with 6-8 audience members

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChBHey-cRVY

2m55s Pause after “security didn’t like that answer as much as you guys did”

5m02s No need to say “you fucks”

6m48s Say “I was happy about it” before “twice the toys and…”

7m05s Change “positive side” to “upside”

Overall: I remember this going a lot better in person than it sounds on the tape. There are consistent laughs but they’re not that loud.

An open mic

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X31eZWZYHfk

3m01s The pause should be after “in”

3m23s Change “latchkey” to “neglect”

3m27s Say “the legos tripled” happier

3m59s Cut everything after “neuro divorce” until here

4m47s More emphasis on “If I REALLY like you”

Overall: Decent for a mic. Some parts need to be cut out.

MCing my Tuesday show

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TyCnLSmNig

0m45s Make a joke sooner

2m30s I think this joke is funny but I’ve yet to find the delivery that will make it work

4m31s Rewrite or cut the proceeding joke

Part 2

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KsBYUcl4zE

1m51s Pause for another half second after “what’s more American than”

2m20s Wait for the clapping to stop before starting to talk, even if I’m playing off of what the previous comic said

2m55s Pause after “the opportunity to”

Overall: Average for a small show. I didn’t do any crowd work as the MC because I knew everyone in the audience, so it would’ve been weird.
