A 10pm show

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5H5yoNBI_Q

1m42s Great response to the comment

1m56s Good job following instincts while staying in character

6m24s It should be “louder” instead of “harder”

Overall: Great set. This is the first time getting heckled actually helped me get bigger laughs.

Doing a regular set on my Astoria show for about 8 people

0m35s Say the OJ line before anything else if someone says something before I start

4m58s This happens often with this character, where some people won’t make eye contact, decent idea to call it out. Maybe, “Why won’t you look at me? Don’t you think I’m attractive?”

8m59s Say “do not” instead of “don’t”

Overall: Weak showing. A couple of audience members enjoyed the character and rest hated it.

MCing the 8pm show (and I can’t do my dark psycho persona while MCing)

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MxE2VhaqVk

2m01s I need a better response

6m28s Add in, “you’re welcome”

6m32s Should’ve done a little more crowd work before going into another joke

8m08s Good job ending the upfront material on a good laugh.

8m30s Doing time between comics

Overall: Good MCing. I didn’t get huge laughs, but I got everyone into the show and got a good laugh before bringing up the first comic. Plus I spent half my time doing crowd work comfortably.

An open mic

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=–p_A5PBTLo

0m34s If someone says something this early, say “it’ll get worse”

1m12s Instead of “remind me of” try “look like”

2m30s Instead of “family” say “parents”

Overall: A standard open mic response.
