An afternoon open mic

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZqz7DH9rBo

1m54s Weird how that line took an extra two seconds to get a laugh

2m15s Say it a little more excited

3m01s Change it to “so you don’t get along with your father?”

3m12s Cut the cabin location line

3m52s The line should be “about a slim, supple brunette getting to know the real you”

4m44s Cut the “all of August” tag

5m18s I should already have the mic in my other hand

Overall: Good for an open mic, a couple of the newer jokes need words adjustments.

An audition set

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxJ2g4VvTbk

1m17s Frog in my throat

1m25s Talking a little fast and uneven

2m31s Good job pausing until the laughs came

4m21s Laugh for an extra half second a little harder

6m10s Could’ve ended stronger

Overall: Passable but not great. It took me two minutes to relax and slow down to my normal pace. I still got steady laughs throughout, but I’ve had better responses doing this character.

An open mic

1m54s Do a crazy laugh stop after this line

3m59s Lean forward when saying the punch line

4m38s Sound happier about having brought mine

6m49s Cut the “and all of August” tag

Overall: I should be a little more playful while acting insane.

Late night at the music and comedy mic

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00ApYJ52RrI

5m55s I need to find a way to hide where this is going, maybe just say it faster

6m22s Cut “some people are so self centered”

8m37s Try adding in, “weirdo”

9m48s The laugh stop is really effective

10m38s If “chance to beg” gets a big laugh, I shouldn’t do the “for the sweet release of death” tag as there’s too long of a pause

17m36s That random flower line doesn’t make sense here, it should be after I don’t get a laugh

Overall: Great set. This is the best the crazy persona has done and the longest set I’ve done without breaking character.
