Performance Critique: December 11d

Towards the end of an 8pm show

httpv://youtu.be/AromsSvtA50

1m30s Move eyes side to side slower

5m03s Instead of “this vicious cycle” say “MY vicious cycle”

5m20s Remember to the put mic stand back in to do a better hula hoop

6m42s Fifth and sixth year should be on the same hand

6m58s No need to point this out when I get a good laugh

8m28s Learn to pause after “sometimes” if a big laugh comes

8m38s Don’t stutter on the line

9m20s Nice improvised line

Overall: Good set.

Performance Critique: December 11b

Going first on a 4:30pm show

httpv://youtu.be/pbtN1Ka47k4

0m28s Don’t say “good start”

1m28s Make “maybe” sound more threatening

2m04s Slow down the plane line

2m39s Call out the “ooh” as that line doesn’t deserve it

4m15s Should’ve done a save line before going into a new bit

Overall: Started out ok-ish then got weaker. Go to save lines sooner and don’t hold back from doing actual crowd work even if it’s a short set.

Performance Critique: December 11a

Going first on a 2pm show

httpv://youtu.be/4HrBXDi0dNk

4m21s Don’t switch hands on the mic for the two characters, it takes too long

5m26s Keep the mic distance the same

6m23s That’s the weakest the birthday song has closed in a while

Overall: Solid but not great, and the Birthday bit at the end wasn’t as strong as it usually is.

Performance Critique: December 10

The 8pm show

httpv://youtu.be/zoahUHZWILY

0m32s Instead of “what we’re doing” go with “what we’re working with”

4m02s Don’t stumble on the words

4m25s Don’t move my eyes so quickly

5m17s Don’t move my eyes so quickly on the side to side

6m10s It didn’t seem random enough, maybe say “hi” to her first

6m54s I forgot the end to this joke

7m02s Don’t switch hands on the circle

7m18s This bit goes better if I remember to put the mic in the stand for it

9m48s The mouth line needs rework

9m58s So does the new affectionate line

10m06s Good improvised call back

Overall: Good at the start and end but the anti marriage stuff didn’t hit as well as usual.
